Our Clinical Approach
Academic & Clinical Context
This work is grounded in a robust academic and clinical framework, combining hospital-based practice with interdisciplinary research in pain management, psychology, and consciousness studies.
The musical hypno-sedation approach was developed and implemented through clinical practice within the Interdisciplinary Center for Algology at the University Hospital of Liège, in close connection with academic research conducted at the University of Liège, including collaborations with the GIGA Consciousness Research Unit (Sensation & Perception Research Group).
This dual anchoring ensures that the music is aligned with established clinical protocols and evaluated within real-world healthcare environments, while remaining independently published.
How Hypnusic Is Used in Clinical Practice
One music. Multiple benefits.
Clinically designed and research-backed, these hypno-sedative compositions support natural nervous system regulation and states of relief within appropriate listening contexts.
They are intended to help relieve pain, reduce anxiety, calm the mind, soothe emotional tension, and facilitate sleep.
Developed through clinical practice in collaboration with experts in medical hypnosis, and used for over a decade in healthcare settings including the University Hospital of Liège, these compositions have supported patients in operating rooms, pain clinics, and recovery environments.
These compositions are made available to individuals, healthcare professionals, and medical institutions, within clearly defined listening contexts and individual sensitivity.
When used appropriately, the music is intended to support the therapeutic process by allowing the listening experience itself to unfold.
